About the Role:

We are looking for a person who has a passion for brands and is willing to roll their sleeves up to take the #1 Mexican Brand on Draft to the next level of growth. The role covers the exciting opportunity to support the development of the Dos Equis brand, in the Sunbelt States where we are facing strong competition, supporting the team to make Dos Equis a culturally relevant brand again.

 

In this role you will have full participation in the brand team’s activities and assist the Brand Director in the development of key brand programs that deliver the annual plan. You will gain experience in brand program development from brief to execution by leading the brand’s key BTL Marketing Programs (i.e. Cinco, College Basketball, College Football) and support brand sponsorships, both national and local. You will be responsible for the execution of specific promotional programs - in collaboration with regional marketing and sales. You will also take the lead on monthly communication calls with the regional teams and act as brand visual identity guardian, with daily interactions with regional marketing and sales.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Brand Director in executing the annual brand plan with focus on Integrated Partnerships and BTL Marketing – leading delivering on Tier 1 BTL programming and support on the brand’s national and local sponsorships, as defined by the Brand Director
  • Act as key guardian of brand visual identity through liaison with regional marketing to develop Below the Line brand activation in key markets
  • Primarily through POSM, local sponsorship programs
  • Work with key stakeholders: internal & external agency partners, national sales and regional marketing teams.
  • Support Brand Director on reporting back to the regional team on key insights and driving actions to ensure brand business delivery.
  • Manage execution and communication of Tier 1 BTL programs through the commercial marketing planning process:
  • Coordinate the development of promotional consumer concepts and creative.
  • Manage online ordering tool
  • Development of sell stories for each program
  • Gain, share, and leverage on-going understanding of the beer business, channels, retail trade.
  • Become an expert on our consumers, their lifestyle and their most relevant cultural passion points (sports, entertainment, Pop Culture), and how that applies to driving our business.
  • Lead planning, logistics, and execution of select Brand Team and Agency events, including scheduling and management of monthly touchpoint calls with BUs

 

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 3 years Brand Marketing/Trade Marketing experience
  • Proven track record of end-to-end project and stakeholder management experience
  • Agency management experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the beverage industry or CPG preferred.
  • Experience in working on partnerships properties with third parties
