About the Role: 

Drives business growth, supporting the finance, sales, and marketing departments through performance management, analytics, and planning.   Responsible for generating descriptive, investigative, and predictive models and reports.  Supports the Director of Analytics and Data Science to increase shareholder value for HEINEKEN by setting and supporting the delivery of challenging OpCo financial and non-financial targets by developing optimal ways to plan, measure, and visualize/predict business performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the overall Finance Function by working closely with the various finance functions including, Strategic Business Control, Marketing Business Control, Supply Chain and Support Business Control, Reporting and Accounting, Procurement and GIS, as well as cross functionally
  • Foster a culture of fact-based decision-making, cost consciousness, and cash management throughout the organization
  • Support the decision-making in the OpCo by:
    • Building and maintaining reports to monitor business performance
    • Automating and streamlining the data refresh and harmonization process
    • Supporting reporting and analytics needs of the marketing and sales organizations, including KPI reporting and sales route planning
    • Building on data quality management and governance to ensure alignment across all platforms
    • Communicating with stakeholders (i.e., Sales, Marketing) on topics including results, changes, and system/data issues
  • Support developing optimal ways to plan, measure, and report performance
  • Support developing predictive analytics capabilities to understand ROI on key commercial drivers
  • Support the advocacy and embedding of analytics across the organization
  • Support maintaining business planning and reporting tools with up-to-date information
  • Support developing and delivering training on scorecards, reporting and processes

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Undergraduate in Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field required.  (MBA, Masters in data science a plus)
  • Functional expertise: 2-3 years of Data Science, Analytics, or Business Intelligence experience, preferably within CPG / Retail
  • Experience with data modeling and familiar with tools such as SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Python, or R
  • Experience with reporting platforms such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel expertise a must)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate analytical insights into actions for various functions including non-technical audiences
  • English verbal/written fluency
