About the Role:  This role leads a team to deliver planning and development of the HUSA portfolio within off premise chains in the West Region.  Internal collaborations are at a Sr. Level in the organization liaising with Sr. Sales Leaders, Brand Marketing, Category Development, Finance/business intelligence and the Management Team.    You will lead a team of Chain Managers with Customer and Geographic assignments delivering the annual business plan.  Externally you will interact with HUSA’s largest off premise customers critical to our business success as well as the Chain teams within our Distributor Network.   The job requires previous account management experience, ability to understand and leverage syndicated data to influence customer decisions, and the ability to build a business plan aligned with HUSA’s strategic vision.

  • Approximate Volume:  12MM cases

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering business objectives within Off Premise Chains in the West Region
  • Creating a vision for success aligned with Heineken’s strategic goals
  • Creating an Annual  Business plan
  • Key point of Communication ensuing clarity of goals and execution standards in Chain account business
  • Coach and develop a team of 5 direct report and total team of 9
  • Using compelling data to gain distribution and feature activity aligned with HUSA priorities
  • Setting key performance management indicators for success, communicating and monitoring progress vs. goal
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Channel Marketing and Category Deveopment to bring Heineken USA promotional platforms to customer in a strategically aligned way
  • Strong collaboration with HUSA National Sales team and distributors to ensure effective execution
  • Member of West Region leadership team

 

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Must speak English
  • Experience leading a sales team through distributor management
  • Direct customer management experience in CPG
  • Previous knowledge of 3-tier system

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous success building deliver business results through customer management
  • Ability to create a vision for brands aligned with customers strategies
  • Experience building and executing business plans
  • Budget and resource management
  • Excellent communication skills through multi mediums
  • Ability to use Category Management and other syndicated data to influence
  • Distributor Management experience at a supplier helpful
  • 10+ years’ experience in CPG selling with  5 years selling Major National Customers
