Specialist On/Off Premise Sales

About the Role:  

Off- & On- Premise Specialist is responsible for the communication and execution of premise objectives with our distributor and retail partners in a specific territory.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with distributor sales teams to ensure HEINEKEN USA (HUSA) portfolio’s fair share of business at accounts & geographic territory through regular communication, training, market surveys, and sales meetings.
  • Manage channels & key accounts through planning, execution, and review of results against HUSA standards and KPIs.
  • Implement sales performance measures and targets using market-specific Picture of Success (PICOS) with distributors while helping achieve expected results in trade.
  • Communicate all brand programs and chain activity standards to your assigned territory to achieve volume targets.
  • Establish presence in-market through regular distributor work-withs and market visits.
  • Become the trusted advisor for key accounts and distributor sales teams to explore incremental business opportunities.
  • Host product education sessions to retailers, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure sufficient share of mind.
  • Leverage selling resources to drive KPIs at accounts, including programming execution, sampling, POS, and trainings.
  • Partner with internal HEINEKEN USA team to ensure alignment in key accounts and geographic territory.
  • Plan, communicate and execute new product launches in order to achieve volume and distribution goals.
  • Conduct weekly progress checks of distributor performance and leverage strategic insights and/or post-promotional / post-program analysis to gain continued support in trade.

 

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Exposure to beverage and/or other CPG industry preferred
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with a desire to learn
  • Core Selling & Negotiation Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Program Management & Activation
  • Analytical skillset
  • Ability to Drive Execution Standards
  • Understanding Sales Value Drivers
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish)

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 32 lbs
  • Frequent stooping, reaching, bending, twisting required
  • Must be able to walk, stand, sit in vehicle for extended periods
  • Must be flexible to work evenings and occasional weekends
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
