About the Role:  This role leads planning and development of the HUSA portfolio within the Drug and Dollar Channel.  Internal collaborations at a Sr. Manager Level in the organization liaising with Zone Directors, Market Managers, Sales Leaders, Brand Marketing, Category Development, Finance/Business intelligence and the Management Team.  Externally, you will interact with HUSA’s off premise national accounts critical to our business success. The job requires previous account management experience, ability to understand and leverage syndicated data to influence customer decisions, and the ability to build a business plan aligned with HUSA’s strategic vision. Primary Customers:  Walgreens, RiteAid, Family Dollar


Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering business objectives within Customer base
  • Creating a vision for success for customers you have lead on as aligned with Heineken’s strategic goals
  • Executing a vision for success outlined by Director, National Accounts for all Division call points
  • Creating and Business plan for each customer and executing through direct contact and indirect
  • Indirect coaching and developing internal and external sales people to achieve business results.
  • Using compelling data to gain distribution and feature activity aligned with HUSA priorities
  • Setting key performance management indicators for success, communicating and monitoring progress vs. goal
  • Collaborating with Marketing to bring Heineken USA promotional platforms to customer in a strategically aligned way
  • Strong collaboration with HUSA region sales team and distributors to ensure effective execution


Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience leading a sales team through distributor management
  • Direct customer management experience in CPG
  • Previous knowledge of 3-tier system
  • 5+ years’ experience in CPG selling


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous success building deliver business results through customer management
  • Ability to create a vision for brands aligned with customers strategies
  • Experience building and executing business plans
  • Budget and resource management
  • Excellent communication skills through multi mediums
  • Ability to use Category Management and other syndicated data to influence
  • Distributor Management experience at a supplier helpful
  • 3+ years’ CPG experience working with a regional or national grocery, drug or dollar customer
