Regional Sales Capability Manager, APAC

Working with the APAC Sales and Trade Marketing team, this colleague helps shape the competencies that will help us win in each of our diverse markets in Asia Pacific.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

 

Create an APAC region sales & trade marketing capability annual plan aligned to Regional and Global priorities.
Developing leading-edge, innovative sales training, tools & techniques to support the APAC and Global capability priorities.
Connect and leverage global subject matter experts to supplement and enhance the Regional capability plan and agenda.
Deployment of the APAC annual capability plan through a blended learning approach utilising the most effective and efficient mix of face to face and virtual training and tools.
Leveraging and tailoring of global capability content to ensure local relevance and application.
Active participation in the recruitment of key Commercial roles in both Country based or Regional based teams.
Ongoing coaching and development of Sales Directors and Trade Marketing Managers.
Leadership of Sales & Trade Marketing Communities of Practice in the region.
Sourcing and sharing internal and external Sales & Trade Marketing best practice across the various stakeholders and networks.
Ongoing participation in Regional and Global commercial projects as required


Dimensions

Reports to Regional Sales Director.
Works with APAC Sales Team of five.


Requirements:

Level of education: Qualified degree level or higher
Years of experience: More than 10 years of working experience in a combination of operational and strategic roles.
Language Requirement: Fluent in English.


Specific Knowledge/skills:

Hands on Sales and Trade Marketing experiences, dealing with local and international customers
Excellent writing & presentation skills
Great networking & influencing skills
Information gathering and interpreting skills
Organisational skills to manage demanding workload and priorities
Strong project management
Ability to handle complex issues, grasp complex information and communicate simply.
