Media and Digital Transformation Manager

As the Media & Digital Transformation Manager, APAC - You will transform the approach to media and digital, most specifically driving the roll out and adoption of iDDM across the APAC region and in line with HEINEKEN principles and programmes. You will need to deliver positive impact on ROI of the APAC Marketing spend by OPCO as well as deliver this through capability build - raising both the floor and ceiling, and through driving and embedding key media principles and iDDM across OPCOs.  

Key responsibilities:


•    Ensure HEINEKEN media principles are embedded across all OPCOs in the APAC region with basics and foundations in place, including efficient and effective media plans in all OPCOs, fit for platform creatives, mobile first approach etc etc
•    Build a regional programme of deployment of iDDM into key markets across the region in collaboration with the Global iDDM team and OPCOs, accelerating the pace of adoption in the region. 
•    Work with iDDM OPCOs to support and advise them in their deployment and the development of their CDAU (commercial digital acceleration unit), iDDM approach and adoption and driving both % of media spend that is iDDM and the ROI of that spend. 
•    Drive all OPCOs in the region forward on the journey towards iDDM readiness, making the appropriate steps based on the capability, needs and sophistication of the OPCO and market. 
•    Make measurement and ROI obsession systematic across the region, with the right KPIs tracked, plans optimised accordingly and subsequent improvements in ROI realised. 
•    Define an approach to optimising our effectiveness in dark markets (1/3 of markets in APAC region are dark or semi-dark) via optimal mix and adoption of iDDM

•    Build advocacy of iDDM across the region increasing both buy in and understanding amongst Senior Managers, the GM and Marketing populations and consequently accelerating adoption. 
•    Build partnerships with key media and platform partners (eg Red Star, Starcom, Google, Facebook etc) to maximise the value from the relationships and unlock opportunities for improved performance and innovation. 
•    Syndicate and share learnings from across the region whilst creating media and iDDM communities that learn, share, reapply and offer mutual support

Measures of success/ KPI’s:


•    Roll out and adoption rate of iDDM in APAC region including number of markets active and % of media spend that is iDDM
•    Improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and ROI from media spend across OPCOs in the region

Experience/ skills required:


•    Degree preferred

•    Minimum 7 yrs relevant experience in Media and Digital Marketing 
•    Extensive knowledge of iDDM 
•    Preferably experience working client side in FMCG
•    Highly fluent in written & verbal English.
