Title:  Finance & Admin Controller

Type of Contract: Permanent

 

Purpose:

To ensure efficient and effective operations, this role focuses on aligning demand and distribution activities while accurately identifying customer supply needs. Additionally, it is responsible for implementing efficient and appropriate administration principles to optimize Finance and Administration processes.

 

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

Document Management:

  • Receive and manage all inbound documents from contracted suppliers (imported goods) in compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Accurately dispatch outbound invoices and related documents to various distributor warehouses and client consignments, ensuring recipient signatures and adherence to company policies and procedures.

 

Financial Documentation:

  • Collate and submit payment receipts, delivery notes, Goods Receipt Notes, and invoices to the Financial Manager promptly to facilitate the updating of customer balances and the processing of payments.

 

Procurement Support:

  • Assist the Logistics Manager with purchase requisitions and procurement-related administrative tasks.

 

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and process personnel expense claims and manage travel bookings.

  • Distribute Daily Sales Reports to internal stakeholders.

  • Assist in the weekly circulation of Customer Statements.

 

Reporting and Systems Management:

  • Assist with effective monthly reporting on Syspro and follow up on necessary actions.

  • Review documentation and process necessary accounting entries.

  • Request and collate all relevant supporting documents, reports, and reconciliations for journal preparation for month-end closure.

 

General Administrative Tasks:

  • Support various administrative tasks within the organization as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • ACCA Part two level /CA Application level / Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent

  • Must have at least 3 years relevant experience in a similar role within FMCG / Logistics Industry 

  • Experience in Data capturing /Receivables Function in FMCG company.

  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable Principles and Practices

  • Experience in the following technologies will be given preference: Syspro.

  • Intermediate MS Excel skills are a requirement.

  • Ability to analyze Information.
