Title:  Trade Marketeer

Purpose of the job

  • Supports the development and execution of trade marketing plans across country and channel, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and impact.
  • Demonstrates awareness of the category context in the markets where we are playing with the Local Brands and the implication for Portfolio/Brand Strategy and growth. Contributes to the design and delivery of key category activities.
  • Plays a critical role in coordinating On Trade marketing plans through the appropriate planning and process stages to ensure best-in-class execution, delivered on time and in full.
  • Tracks and reports on marketing spend across all brands, supporting portfolio and SKU mix management towards optimal profitability. Assists in resource allocation to balance short-term profit and long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and developing trade marketing and category plans to help deliver the annual plan and grow profitable share.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of Brand Strategy for Local/Regional/Global Brands under guidance, ensuring consistency with Brand architecture and activation plans.
  • Support On Trade marketing execution, ensuring Brand Activations are embedded in the commercial calendar and that sales resources are aligned to activation needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Sales Support, Activation & Brand Managers, and other key stakeholders to support the development and implementation of brand and trading strategies.
  • Coordinate in-market Trade Marketing activities to ensure activations are delivered OTIF, contributing to excellent in-outlet execution.
  • Assist in preparing NPI and Brand Activations for launch, ensuring readiness across relevant teams.
  • Maintain monthly BTL budget trackers and support reconciliation processes.
  • Highlight risks and opportunities in the budget and support monthly reviews with the Leadership team.
  • Ensure campaign setup is aligned to budget and charged to the correct budget line.
  • Execute relevant MWB activities and support local teams in delivering aligned execution.
