Purpose of the job
The RGM Analyst supports the Revenue Management (RMG) team in driving revenue growth and improving operating margins through effective data analysis, pricing support, promotional evaluation, and margin management. This role is pivotal in providing analytical insights and operational support to ensure the successful execution of revenue management initiatives aligned with Heineken Beverage International’s business strategy.
This role collaborates with cross functional teams in finance, sales, marketing and operations teams to align revenue management activities with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Analysis & Support:
Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market, competitor, and internal data. Utilise RMG tools and analytics to ensure pricing decisions are data-driven. - Mix and Margin Analysis:
Analyze product mix and margin performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product offerings and maximize margin potential. - Promotional Effectiveness:
Evaluate the impact of promotional activities and campaigns on revenue and profitability. Provide recommendations to enhance promotional effectiveness at SKU, regional, and channel levels. - Trade Terms & Discount Management:
Support the implementation of trade terms and discount structures, ensuring spend is effective (drives intended outcomes) and in line with budget. - Pricing Execution & Compliance:
Monitor the implementation of pricing strategies and ensure compliance across channels and markets. Identify and report deviations or violations. - Performance Reporting:
Conduct regular performance analysis of revenue management initiatives. Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. - Adhoc Requirements - Assist in resolving pricing-related issues in collaboration with sales teams, as well as admin tasks relating to maintenance of analytics files.
Job Requirements
- Degree in business, finance, economics or related field
Experience
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in revenue management, pricing analysis, or a related analytical role (FMCG or beverage industry experience preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and revenue management software/tools.
- Good understanding of market dynamics, pricing methodologies, and revenue management principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
