Job Overview:

We are seeking for an enthusiastic and driven Intern to join our Supply Chain team in Cape Town. This internship will offer hands-on experience in process optimization and warehouse management. You will work closely with the Operations Manager, Logistics Manager and Export Order Manager to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and support daily operational activities. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in analyzing warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement.

  • Support the implementation of process optimization initiatives. 

  • Monitor inventory flow and assist with stock control procedures. 

  • Participate in daily warehouse operations and logistics coordination.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency. 

  • Document and report findings and recommendations to management.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

Currently pursuing a National Diploma  in;  

  • Supply Chain Management 

  • Operations Management 

  • Logistics Management

 

Key Attributes Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data tools 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 

  • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset
