We are seeking a proactive and analytically sharp Market Insights Specialist to join our fast-paced organization, playing a pivotal role in turning market intelligence into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

 

Job Purpose:

The Market Insights Specialist develops and executes Commercial Intelligence plans aligned with the company’s strategic direction, ensuring the selection and use of high-quality, reliable market data. The role provides clear direction on Commercial Intelligence objectives and priorities within the Beer industry, strengthening the organization’s understanding of market, channel, and segment dynamics.

The role designs, implements, and continuously enhances analytical systems, methods, and techniques, transforming quantitative and qualitative market data into actionable insights that address business needs and support fact-based decision-making. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role challenges, informs, and influences Business partners on commercial intelligence topics, enabling management to make well-informed decisions and take corrective actions when required.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develops, delivers and evolves existing performance reports / dashboards and provides ongoing insights to business stakeholders.
  • Monitors market and own portfolio in terms of growth & market share, assessing opportunities and risks on a market / channel / region / pack / brand level.
  • Synthesizes, combines & communicates the important points in relation to the business issue & looks outside existing data / research to understand the target topic (i.e., input from other sources/other categories).
  • Adds own level of interpretation to the facts to explain /hypothesize on the way behind them & draws conclusions which answer the Business objective.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business, computing, economics, or numeracy-related field (a Master’s degree will be considered an additional asset).
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in similar Market Insights or Commercial Intelligence roles.
  • Experience in FMCG / Beverages industry will be considered an asset.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical tools and methods, with hands-on experience in data analytics and the ability to process large data sets to extract insights (e.g., correlations, statistical differences, extrapolation, estimations).
  • Strong experience with Nielsen or similar tools, including range selection, data extraction, and data processing; familiarity with SAP, CRM, and SEM is required.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
