Right now, we are looking for a passionate and data-driven oriented Market Analytics Manager to join our Consumer & Market Intelligence who is responsible for managing the collection, processing and analysis of data for all categories.  

We are looking for an individual with experience in crafting an accurate performance narrative for existing categories and uncovering growth opportunities, providing key market insights for decision-making and strategic planning at a senior level.

S/he should have a unique blend of analytical prowess, leadership in guiding a team to transform data into valuable insights, and a tech-savvy approach to enhance analytics and planning processes.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Spearhead the development and dissemination of regular reporting and analyses, interpreting market performance and its correlation with other commercial KPIs across all categories.
  • Generate and distribute comprehensive market analysis reports, scorecards, and performance frameworks for internal and competitive benchmarking, detailing market shares by category, brand, packaging, channel, area, and retailer on a volume basis.
  • Consolidate and transform findings into actionable insights, reports, and presentations, aiding in strategic decision-making and planning for sales and marketing teams.
  • Identify emerging categories/segments through meticulous market analysis, contributing to portfolio optimization and channel-positioning strategies.
  • Facilitate volume scenario planning to inform and align with finance and supply chain evaluations, based on insights and identified assumptions.
  • Engage in proactive partnership with sales leaders to refine estimates, monitor plan deviations, and align on strategic responses.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of company data sources to lead the creation of more effective business planning and monitoring solutions.
  • Collaborate with external partners to advance commercial goals, continuously enhancing analytical techniques and methodologies.
  • Innovate standard approaches and integrate new protocols by challenging agency thinking and capabilities, fostering improvements.
  • Advocate for the uncovering of critical business questions and insights, enriching stakeholder engagement and strategic dialogue.
  • Engage cross-functionally to accommodate diverse stakeholder needs into market analysis efforts, ensuring a holistic view of business requirements.
  • Leverage a broad spectrum of knowledge sources to tackle existing business challenges and identify new opportunities.
  • Promote organizational learning, sharing insights and best practices across functions and hierarchical levels to cultivate a data-informed culture.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • A BSc degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is essential. An MSc degree or an advanced professional certification in a related discipline would be highly advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in market analytics, business intelligence, or a related area, preferably within FMCG industry. Experience should include roles of increasing responsibility and team leadership.
  • Experience in Beverages Industry will be considered as asset.
  • Excellent user of Nielsen or similar– i.e., ranges selection, data extraction, data processing (SAP, CRM, SEM)
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written & oral)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI to visualize data.
  • Strong ability to transform complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for strategic planning and decision-making. Experience in market segmentation, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading analytics teams, including talent development, performance management, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Exceptional Communication and Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex analyses and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders across functions.
