Right now, we are looking for a passionate D&T Functional Consultant – Supply Chain, reporting to the Business Relationship Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of all systems within your area of responsibility by analyzing business needs and system issues, developing and implementing solutions, coordinating testing activities, and providing continuous support to end users, while contributing to process improvement and the smooth alignment of technology with Supply Chain operations.

Key responsibilities

The D&T Functional Consultant will be responsible for translating business requirements into the design and build of IT Solutions, taking into account the lifecycle management for specific applications and will cooperate closely with SC team from Production to Logistics & Customer Service. Ability to understand business needs, the corresponding IT application landscape and digital trends in the area of Supply Chain and Logistics is a must.  

Contribute to the implementation and support of planned IT solutions and changes:

  • Create, update and maintain D&T project deliverables (business requirements, functional design, user stories, issues lists)
  • Assist in data management/migration activities, ensure data integrity in key systems, and address data quality issues with business.
  • Understand the end-to-end service and business impact from a user’s perspective, not just the technical or functional components
  • Work closely with internal resources and external parties to ensure timely and  delivery of the agreed solutions
  • Support test scenarios creation and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that the solutions meet the agreed criteria and quality standards.
  • Provide support on operational issues, propose potential solutions and drive the implementation of improvements to corresponding applications

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or in a relevant technology-related field
  • 1-3 years of work experience
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team player with strong business acumen.
  • Experience in SAP ECC or SAP S4 HANA (i.e.SD, MM, PP, QM) will be considered an additional asset
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Demonstrate lightweight Project Management experience and ability to coordinate initiatives across multiple teams in a multicultural environment
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with Agile framework.
