Right now, we are looking for a passionate On Trade Channel Activator to join our team, based in Athens, within our Trade Marketing Department.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver the category strategy in the respective channel nationwide, working closely with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure that customer and shopper dynamics are utilized.
  • Lead the channel agenda both internally and externally and own the respective channels’ performance.
  • Develop detailed plans per subchannel and manage budget to deliver expected results, while being responsible for activations & platforms evaluation.
  • Observe market trends and actively search for new business opportunities in the market, identifying potential for improving and adding new trade marketing activities. 
  • Brief / Debrief Advertising agencies for activations with clear target & goal to be achieved.
  • Work with internal cross functional teams and external stakeholders, to ensure high levels of efficiency and on time project deliverables.
  • Assist sales in execution in strategy execution by providing tools and guidelines per channel.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress and performance of channel plans, proposing course corrections when necessary and incorporate learnings into promotional planning.
  • Understand business and translate client needs (distributors, outlet owners) into value propositions.
  • Safeguard legal compliance in all areas of responsibility.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising or Communication) / A Master’s degree will be considered an additional asset.
  • Experience of at least 2 years in the On Trade channel or Marketing.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in category and channel development in FMCG industry will be considered an additional asset.
  • Strong Commercial & Financial acumen.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with multiple continuous data sources to produce actionable insights.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written & oral).
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Results Orientation, Negotiation & Communication skills, ability to work effectively within teams as well as independently.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Strong time management skills while working under tight timelines.
  • Willingness to travel.
