Right now, we are looking for a passionate and self-driven Investments Category Manager to join our Procurement Department, based in Athens, reporting to the Procurement Manager.


The ideal candidate, in cooperation with the CAPEX coordination manager and the Plants Project Managers, will guarantee sustainable and uninterrupted supply of selected equipment and/or services at competitive cost and according to quality and safety requirements set by internal stakeholders and company processes. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategy for locally managed investments spend
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and the business environment to create the right strategy for your category
  • Tender and negotiate contracts for locally managed spend
  • Define high level implementation plan and share with stakeholders
  • Contract suppliers for locally managed spend within relevant authority levels on volumes, price, quality, delivery and other conditions, liabilities, responsibilities and service levels. Consult legal where necessary
  • Provide input cost estimation according to budget planning process
  • Work closely with CAPEX Coordinator and plants project managers, ensuring they have information and all the relevant data to perform their responsibilities.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Commercial, Economic or Technical discipline
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant working experience in Purchasing / Procurement / Innovation Processes, preferably within a FMCG company
  • Be able to act as an independent and challenging business partner
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Procurement Tools, experience with SAP will be considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of Purchasing and Supply Chain / Project Management experience
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities
  • Ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence solutions at all levels
  • Proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues
  • Excellent command of the English language, oral and written
  • Experience in a multi-national environment will be considered an asset.
