On-Trade Sales Manager - AB Sales

 

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to manage the On-Trade & distributors day to day affair by allocating trade budgets in the best possible programs to bring additional market shares and incremental volumes.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Customer Relations:

  1. Maintains and builds connections with current and future customers through in-person interactions, phone conversations, and emails.
  2. Handles client concerns and troubleshoots.
  3. Develops customer and distributor contracts of different trade programs in liaison with the legal department.
  4. Maintains a positive working connection with important customers.
  5. Creates distribution and customer profiles part of the distribution management concept.

 

Team Management:

  1. Manages the on-trade management staff and engages with district and zone managers on a weekly basis.
  2. Implements company policies and achieves business goals.
  3. Meets with team members and the head of sales on a weekly and monthly basis to share updates and insights.
  4. Coordinates with the Trade Marketing team to provide appropriate assistance and the development of an activation schedule.
  5. Leads, inspires, and develops a high-performing team by setting demanding goals and providing constructive criticism and coaching.
  6. Follows up on employee vacations and ensures that they are entered into a system in accordance with the yearly plan (sick leave, annual, work mission, etc.).
  7. Sets the team's monthly volume and key performance indicator objectives.

 

Strategy and Ventures:

  1. Expands the business by looking for new possibilities, making relationships, and closing transactions with clients.
  2. Identifies new markets and commercial possibilities, as well as arranges meetings with prospective clients to prospect for new business.
  3. Conducts a market survey to find new target markets in order to enhance market volume.
  4. Utilizes Al Ahram Beverages Company's (ABC) innovations in On-Trade in accordance with channel and commercial strategy.
  5. Monitors and responds to competitor plans and actions.
  6. Controls and manages credits to help the company's cash flow.
  7. Evaluates the status and trade position to secure market position.
  8. Meets with the marketing department on a regular basis to introduce new goods.
  9. Gathers market knowledge about market consumer consumers, items, and competitive patterns.
  10. Examines team member delegation and duties such as activations, promotions, time execution, quantities, consumption, and incremental volume.

 

 

Sales:

  1. Negotiates contract conditions and closes sales.
  2. Establishes, implements, and analyzes sales plans as needed, while also aligning with marketing goals.
  3. Monitors and analyzes sales figures and market trends to estimate company potential, assesses competition, and develops product pricing plans.
  4. Monitors goals and sales targets for every zone and district managers, as well as frequently monitoring their performance.
  5.  Conforms to the Egyptian Compliance Authority's requirements.
  6. Increases market share without assuming a monopolistic/dominant position.
  7. Determines trade margins and strikes a balance between profitability and market demands.
  8. Determines channel priorities and concentrates on where to win.
