RPM Planner & Production Scheduler - CSLP

 

Job Purpose

Manages the returnable assets pool in terms of quality and quantity, in line with the agreed service levels and Logistics rules, standards and procedures applicable for the area of RPM, in order to fulfil customer demand against minimum cost and investments.

 

Prepares, monitors, and updates Production Schedules, optimizing Supply Chain resources while complying with the weekly inventory and production plans, and the agreed service level.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 
  1. Ensures that correct data for the RPM KPIs is collected in a safe way
  2. Develops the annual RPM capacity plan for the management of returnable assets, including one-year objectives, considering the impact of seasonality, inventory, optimal circulation time and production strategy as well as new product introductions.
  3. Calculates the investments required for the next financial year using the standard model for RPM investment calculation and participates in the preparation of the Fund Applications for RPM investments, in accordance with applicable rules, standards and procedures.
  4. Plans, forecasts, and controls the availability of returnable assets, according to the requirements of the packaging process and in cooperation with the Commercial, Purchasing and Supply Chain Planning department.
  5. Measures, monitors, and controls the market loss, site loss, circulation time and deposit balance of RPM SKUs, according to Logistics rules, standards, and procedures and in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
  6. Monitors and controls the repair of returnable assets.
  7. Prepares, explains, and follows up on management reports, in line with global reporting standards and/or local requirements.
  8. Visits production sites regularly to update service level agreements and KPIs and to resolve any on-site issues.
  9. Generates feasible schedules per brewery location for both Brewing and Packaging), in line with existing shift patterns and agreed capacities.
  10. Monitors the Scheduling process, considering the interdependencies with brewing, packaging and materials planning.
  11. Identifies gaps between actual and required performance and discusses and updates planning parameters accordingly (OPI, stock levels, lot size).
  12. Initiates, implements, and embeds improvements to RPM & scheduling processes and procedures and supports TPM initiatives.
  13. Provides clear and accurate information on scheduling performance.
  14. Communicates the various plans and their impact to relevant stakeholders.
