What's the role?
A great opportunity to be involved in leading innovative projects which are key to moving the site into its future state.  You will be involved in the development of new processes that will have a clear impact on improving the infrastructure of the brewery.

 

You’ll be responsible for the day to day management of capital projects from the installation phase, ensuring colleagues and contractors all achieve scoped targets and comply with HEINEKEN and regulatory standards and legislation, with their focus on Health & Safety is always at the forefront of their minds.

What are we looking for?
With your relevant qualifications, you’ll have project management experience working with capital investment projects. You will also have the ability to develop practical solutions to optimize the processes. Experience in managing cash flow forecasts and delivering against budget is fundamental, whereas experience with Microsoft Projects would be a plus.

 

You have a mechatronics with an automation background with an advanced project managment skills with 5-10 years of experience 

 

Ambition and strong communications skills are needed as you will be collaborating with a number of key stakeholders and representatives. You will be leading a project team of varied individuals, so the ability to influence and flex communication styles will really help.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Sets the annual plan for any projects in the plant related to safety, quality, efficiency and performance. Reviews the Brewery Capacity Module to identify annual CapEx requirements.

  2. Assesses offers for all CapEx and seeks approvals based on the authority matrix.

  3. Inputs all project related data on the relevant systems including: project goals, purchase requests, purchase orders, etc.

  4. Handles the execution phase of projects and manages all purchase requests and purchase orders.

  5. Assesses the requirements of all projects across the plant with respect to safety, capacity, volume, etc. Plans the CapEx for the coming three years accordingly.

  6. Manages all civil works like plumbing, flooring, etc.

  7. Manages the external contracting team: reviews their contract, sets KPIs based on Heineken standards, distributes tasks, and follows up on their performance and daily progress.

  8. Manages the performance of the security camera maintenance team and follows up on corrective actions.

  9. Handles waste management in the plant.

  10. Conducts one-on-one meetings with the plant manager on a weekly basis to discuss project updates.

  11. Reviews the action plans with the management team on a regular basis.
