Maintenance Planner - Obour Plant

 

Job Purpose

Manages all the maintenance activities across the plant by setting a maintenance plan and monitoring the performance of the technicians in accordance with the plan. Is accountable for the repair and maintenance budget analysis for the whole plant.

Duties and Responsibilities

 
  1. Manages the Production Management pillar in the plant.
  2. Sets the repair and maintenance plan and assigns tasks to the technicians based on the plan.
  3. Creates new machine designs with enhanced efficiency. Develops 3D modeling and 2D drawings of the new designs.
  4. Monitors the performance of the technicians by conducting regular shop floor audits.
  5. Conducts a daily closing meeting with the technicians to follow up on their assigned tasks.
  6. Assigns audit tasks to plant engineers.
  7. Leads Production Management meetings with engineers, operators and technicians to review previous maintenance plans and audit results and progress.
  8. Schedules the shifts of the technicians and keeps track of their attendance.
  9. Follows up on purchase requests and purchase orders by organizing bi-weekly meetings with the procurement team. Drafts and updates a tracking sheet for all purchase requests and purchase orders.
  10. Follows up on the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system.
  11. Organizes meetings with master data regarding the SAP maintenance module.
  12. Handles spare parts’ management by setting a rolling plan for spare parts for the whole plant.
  13. Keeps track of the spare parts’ value in the warehouse by constantly following up with the engineers and warehouse supervisors.
  14. Handles the Business Control System (BCS) maintenance module report sent to the Heineken global team, which includes the spare parts warehouse’s  value as well as budget management reports.
  15. Records spare parts cost for each machine on the SAP system.
  16. Creates, updates and releases work orders for preventive maintenance.
  17. Handles the plant’s budget management in collaboration with the finance team through a detailed build-up file for each activity in each department in coordination.
  18. Develops and submits all required reports in a timely manner.

Education & Experiences

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering and/or similar

Years of Experience

-3 years of experience in maintenance (engineering) and/or operations, improving maintenance performance, TPM and people management.

Qualifications & Other Requirements 

Excellent command of English Language

Skills in Microsoft (Excel & PowerPoint)

Knowledge in TPM
