Junior B2C Data Analyst - E-commerce

Job Description



Job Responsibilities


Functional Responsibilities:

  • He/she works with large data sets to find actionable insights
  • He/She can perform data cleansing through understanding their relevance to the  business
  • He/She can compare and analyze different types of data sets; these can vary between data sets gathered online or with complete offline data to create relevant actionable insights.
  • He/She can translate data into insights to the wider team in an understandable – easy to digest manner.
  • He/She can identify gaps in the data in order for the team to help other stakeholders to fill gaps and  reach better insights
  • He/She has excellent experience with Microsoft tools, Power bi analytical tool and Google Analytics.
  • He/She can team-up with field team to validate her insight and augment the qualitative insights  with the quantitative findings.

Functional Competencies:

  • Understand the difference between consumer, shopper and customer.
  • Understand the B2C digital trends changes in the wider environment and its implication on the platform.
  • Able to differentiate different shopper / consumer needs and act upon in order to achieve ABC digital ambitions.
  • Understand ABC Route to Market and its implication on the platform.
  • Able to understand promotions mechanisms and evaluate their impact on business digital KPIs
  • Challenges figures with different stakeholders and generate new ideas to drive business.

Functional Authority:

  • Together with the regional eCommerce data analyst and Head of eCommece, decide about the different changes that will be implemented in the various datasets to facilitate the daily processes.


Communication and Work Relationships:



  • Ecommerce, sales field , sales support , Customer Service, IT, Trade Marketing, and Sales Management teams.




Education, Certifications and Licenses: University degree from a reputable university business administration, or a related field

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in FMCG companies with B2C E-commerce background.
  • Strong data management skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques is a plus
