Import Manager - CSLP

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with all Customs, Shipping lines & Authorities.
• Setting up planning system for vessels scheduling, loading dates & all documentation process to secure delivery date, avoid any demurrage or storage fees.
• Managing all activities as per Egyptian regulation.
• Monitor all shipping lines performance and creating the needed KPI to measure their performance.
• Manage internal process for all imported goods and create SLAs with relevant functions (Procurement & Finance).
• Ensures all custom clearance Process & Payments are properly managed with the Air & Sea custom clearance Managers.
• Be on top of all foreseen/unforeseen risks and create Proactive Mitigation plans
• Continuously assess the business model and implement the optimum from cost and Risk prospective.
• Ensure the Proper Customs, Trade Agreement and tax tariffs are implemented.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce or Law is preferable
• 6-8 years’ experience in customs clearances
• Command of English Language
• Skills in Microsoft (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
