IT Support Engineer - D&T

Job Purpose

Monitors and maintains the computer systems and networks across the organization and provides support to end users in case of any technical issues.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Handles tickets, incidents, or requests on any issues from end users’ sides.
  2. Handles calls in case of any urgent incidents.
  3. Manages hardware maintenance or replacement.
  4. Acts as the representative within the company for any telecommunications services for employees such as providing them with SIM cards and managing any telecommunications issues.
  5. Reviews invoices for SIM card support.
  6. Handles patch compliance i.e. the process of deploying software updates on all devices in company to resolve any cyber-security vulnerabilities.
  7. Extracts reports on all IT assets in the warehouse and ensures that the data is accurate in case of external or internal audits.
  8. Develops Power BI dashboards and reports as requested.

  1. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle meetings, follow-ups, and awareness campaigns.

  2. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle special approval requests, emergency cases, and network issues effectively.

  3. Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail for monitoring attendance, preparing reports, and conducting audits.
