Distribution Scheduler - Primary Distribution

 

Job Purpose

Manages beverages distribution to warehouses and wholesalers. Ensures safety product stocks in all warehouses.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 
  1. Coordinates the distribution of drinks with warehouses and wholesalers.
  2. Analyzes available stock amounts in all warehouses and enters it into the product distribution planner.
  3. Examines daily order release papers to determine order departures.
  4. Opens plant stocks to determine product availability prior to establishing the loading sheet.
  5. Takes the lead on wholesaler distribution orders.
  6. Orders are requested from plants based on customer service needs obtained from customer service.
  7. Coordinates truck requests to ensure that all items are loaded.
  8. Attends weekly micro plan meetings with planning and production in facilities to examine the following week's production plan.
  9. Prepares and ensures the availability of empty pallets.
  10. Emphasizes and suggests manufacturing on unsold orders.
  11. Meets with the plant's logistics staff once a week to address challenges and risk reduction.
  12. Maintains product safety stockpiles by staying up to date on all promotions.
  13. Prepares monthly statistics on CO2 emissions in order to track truck loads.
  14. Calculates the invoices for truck toll stations.
  15. Reports truck financial hectoliters and accruals payments on a monthly basis.
  16. Shares CFR files with management on a daily basis.
  17. Ensures that all drivers follow and implement safety regulations, and monitors their driving performance using GPS.
  18. Follows up on employee vacations and ensures that they are entered into the system in accordance with the yearly plan (Sick leave, annual, work mission, etc.).

Education & Experiences

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce is preferable

Years of Experience

2 - 4 years’ experience in distribution planning and scheduling.  

Qualifications & Other Requirements 

Command of English Language

Skills in Microsoft (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

Knowledge in ERP systems, like SAP
