Scope of the Job

The D&T Specialist carries a profound understanding of a (set of) simple to medium Solution(s) from a functional, technical, and process perspective. He/She manages the business function (their functional colleagues, support PMO and D&T Lead in vendors management to deliver projects in line with architectural principles and secure support according to agreed requirements. The purpose of the Junior D&T Specialist is to lead/direct the development and improvements of a Solution via a structure delivery framework, ensure the support via Dev-Ops or managed service contracts. He/She acts as a business partner/consultant towards the BPO and/or Product Owner in the business function(s), in close alignment with D&T Lead. The D&T Specialist will by default manage one or more vendors to change/adjust the Solution and will not configure/change the Solution him/herself

Job Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities:  Be the partner of the business functions and work with business representatives (BPO/Product Owners) in order to optimally develop and support the assigned Solution(s)
 Support the selection of third-party suppliers
 Manages vendor(s) on tactical/operational level, while support in building a lasting partnership with vendors.

Understand business needs and requirements, follow external/market/technology developments, manage priorities, support the definition and improvement of the Solutions portfolio with strategic multi (3) year D&T roadmaps for each solution that is aligned to the OpCo and Global Function strategic roadmaps (3YP) and business processes.
 Translate relevant external/market/technology developments/innovations to proposals for new or improved Solutions
 Translates D&T priorities and project/solution portfolio to actionable items and determines designs based on requirements (functional, technical, budget, timing, etc), in full alignment with all stakeholders.  Align designs with architectural principles, policies and guidelines.
 Support the development and improvement of the fit-for purpose Domain and Solution Architecture
 Collaborate with D&T teams to align decisions on strategic initiatives related to the Solution(s) in scope.
 Contribute to the development of operational D&T plans and budgets, including annual objectives. Support the D&T Lead through business/solution analysis to support decision-making, adhering to rules, policies, procedures.
 Translates D&T priorities and projects/solutions portfolio to actionable items and determines designs based on requirements (functional, technical, budget, timing, etc.)
 Execute and optimize mode of DevOps delivery for Solution(s) in scope (Agile/Scrum Product, Agile/Scrum Projects, Waterfall, ad-hoc, etc.)
 Leverage expertise in Solution(s) in scope to challenge and improve business demand and vendor supply
 Manage the project/product portfolio of the Solution(s) in scope. Coordinate the implementation of all projects/products on time, in full, in budget, to satisfaction.
 Ensure the Solution(s) in scope enable the business processes of the relevant business function(s) optimally.
 Manage the life cycle of Solution(s) in scope, performing an appropriate transition to support, and ensuring continuous improvement while respecting business continuity
 Assure well-documented systems and applications are accessible for further use and change.
 Monitor, guard and analyze the functional, technical and security aspects of Solution(s) in scope in line with the agreed performance indicators and defined ways of working.
 Second line support for business team, act fast to ensure business continuity and solve his/her stakeholder painpoints.

 

Knowledge and Experience:
 0-1 Years’ experience with leading digital projects.
 Strong knowledge of development platforms, low/no code, Power platforms and/or salesforce. 
Skills and Abilities:

 Ability to develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
 Customer oriented with strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
