Digital Transformation & Innovation Lead - Support Functions

Scope of the Job

The Digital Transformation & Innovation Lead is end-to-end accountable for all D&T activities for one or more specific business domains, he is responsible for shaping and leading projects and improve ongoing operations that enable our Support Functions colleagues to achieve the strategic goal is their area of domian. This includes Project Portfolio Management (D&T Roadmaps), Domain architecture, Build (CAPEX) and Run (OPEX) accountability across solutions and full lifecycle of non-critical solutions (long-tail).

He/She is expected to play a vital role through connecting and liaising with business colleagues, translating business challenges into actionable digital or process solutions, proactively bringing the best external technologies and leading efforts in development/deployment of platforms/applications, project management excellence and deep business analysis

 

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and requirements. Follow external/market/technology developments. Define and maintain a solutions portfolio with strategic multi (3) year Solutions roadmaps for the full domain that is aligned to the OpCo, Global Function, D&T strategic roadmaps (3YP) and business processes
  • Shape Relevant Systems process for business functions by designing solutions that balance pace, flexibility, scale and longevity.
  • Actively gather innovations, also from peers within D&T, and introduce these to the Business function(s) in based on potential business value
  • Champion End User Experience to minimize friction and optimize productivity by representing the end user on the team.
  • Build and maintain a fit-for purpose Domain Architecture that is aligned with Global enterprise Architect and global Portfolio Managers
  • Translate requests and roadmaps into D&T solutions proposals, in collaboration with the relevant Portfolio Managers (processes, solutions, services and tools)
  • Ensure ownership within the business for initiatives in solutions portfolio to safeguard the realization of the business case
  • Contribute to the creation of those business cases for the development of new solutions
  • Manage the project portfolio. Coordinate the implementation of all projects for the reference business function(s) and define needed resources (internal and external). Ensure that the D&T solutions are aligned with architecture and security standards (security, GIS and strategies)
  • Lead his team Project Managers and manage the execution of all relevant tasks to ensure full implementation of large, complex projects in scope and on time.
  • Manage the budget both for projects and change requests for the relevant business function(s).
  • Ensure the full chain of D&T solutions enable the business processes of the relevant business function(s) optimally.
  • Manage the life cycle of D&T solutions for the reference area in the long-tail, and ensure continuous improvement while respecting business continuity
  • Ensure that support for the D&T solutions in the long-tail is fit for purpose and is delivered according to agreed service levels by internal or external (vendor) service providers.
  • Ensure that D&T solutions in the long-tail comply with technology and data standards and fit within the overall HEINEKEN Enterprise Architecture and standards - in alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure agreed Service Levels can be measured and reported and reports on issues or contract related topics, in line with the service level agreement (SLA) and the D&T standards and guidelines. Actively drives improvements through service improvement plans
  • Full accountability on ISMA and Information Security procedures in his area of domain, work closely with Cyber Security officer to ensure that his area is fully compliant.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Engage key stakeholders and establish trusted business relationships to ensure alignment, visibility and transparency into all aspects of assigned projects and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with D&T team locally and globally to align on decisions for strategic initiatives related to the applicable functional area
  • Contribute to the development of operational D&T plans and budgets, including annual objectives. Provides advice and analysis to the D&T Manager to support decision-making, adhering to rules, policies, procedures and HK OneTrust legislation
  • Business continuity: accountable in creating relevant operating procedures for his solutions and ensure knowledge transfer
  • Safeguard business continuity through creating coherent crises management procedures for his area of responsibilities in collaboration with business team.
  • Act as advisor for his stakeholders on all data security for 3rd party solutions
  • Develop short and long-term development plan for his team with attention to employee development, critical experiences and D&T succession planning.
  • When needed, acts as key sparring partner for the D&T Manager.

 

Education, Certifications and Licenses:

  • Master degree from a reputable university in IT/Computer engineering or a related field

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 7y+ experience with proven experience leading digital projects with sustained business results in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Ability to engage and inspire project team and mobilizing the organization to achieve strategic objective.
  • Subject Matter Expertise of Support Functions business processes and operations.
  • Deep knowledge of information systems, architecture, application development, system integration with working knowledge of both real time and batch processes, web services and APIs.
  • Experience managing technology vendors, consultants and developers.
  • Experience with D&T security standards.
