Business Analyst Temp. - Supply Chain

Scope of the Job

 Make standard and ad-hoc analysis in support of the Finance team and the Function for Al Ahram value creation. Support decision making for the Finance Team and the Function. Track performance against targets for selected activities. Be controlling point of contact for the function for selected areas. Support the development of Function strategy, modelling options for business scenarios to ensure effective business decision making, and track and advise the Function on performance against target throughout the year

Job Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Support the business planning Governance Cycle for the Function and support the Function  management team in delivering the; 10-year Strategic Plan, 3-year Strategic Action Plan, Final Budget, Performance Updates (MMR and QPR)
  • Support the delivery and update of an operational plan (final budget), in line with the 3-year plan and OPCO financial objectives
  • Give support to Planning, analysing and challenge functions
  • Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis of the performance of the function and communicate this insight through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting
  • Act as contact to the relevant Functions for selected matters related to business performance and Governance Cycle
  • Support projects with financial input and analysis
  • Provide advice and guidance, and strengthen decision making
  • Monitor insight on the quantitative and qualitative performance of the functions and communicate this insight through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including commentary

 

Qualifications

Education, Certifications and Licenses:

  •  Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Commerce.
  • Post-studies in Financial analysis is a plus

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid Accounting background.
