Analytics Product Manager - D&T

Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Analytics Product Manager with strong technical expertise in data engineering and business intelligence. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing topnotch, customer-centric analytics products, including dashboards and key metrics, that deliver incremental value and drive process improvement. Experience in data science is a plus. In this role, you will work on local use cases, bridging the gap between business and technical experts to build the best Data & Analytics products and capabilities for Al Ahram Beverages Company. You will leverage a diverse skill set spanning product management, technical development, change management, communication, and capability building.

Key Responsibilities:
• Product Development Lifecycle Management:
o Intake:

▪ Collaborate with stakeholders to review business problems and assess if analytics can provide solutions.

▪ Identify opportunities where analytics can deliver incremental value on local use cases.

o Plan: ▪ Engage directly with end-users to understand their pain points and needs.

▪ Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design wireframes.

▪ Develop dashboards and key metrics to visualize data effectively.

▪ Work with the Product Owner to estimate potential benefits and unlock value.

o Prove:

▪ Develop prototypes and share them with key stakeholders for feedback.

▪ Focus on change management and communication strategies.

▪ Create upskilling programs for end-users and set up metrics to measure usage and satisfaction.

o Produce:

▪ Actively drive product adoption and measure value realization.

▪ Monitor and enhance the impact of analytics products on business processes.

o Scale:

▪ Implement release management for continuous product enhancement based on user feedback.

▪ Facilitate scaling of successful analytics products across the organization.
• Technical Development:
Utilize strong data engineering and business intelligence skills to develop and deploy analytics products.

o Work hands-on with technologies such as SQL, Python, Power BI, and the Azure data stack.

o Develop interactive dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.

o Apply data science techniques when applicable to enhance product capabilities.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
Foster strong connections with stakeholders and end-users to ensure successful product adoption. o

Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding.


• Impact Measurement:
Deliver end-to-end solutions and measure their impact on business performance.

o Establish metrics and KPIs to assess product performance and value delivery.

Qualifications:

• Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. o Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:

o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in analytics product management or related technical roles.

o Proven track record of developing analytics products from conception to deployment.

o Experience in delivering end-to-end solutions and measuring their business impact.

o Experience in the FMCG industry is highly desirable.

 

Technical Skills:

Data Engineering (Must):
▪ Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline development.
▪ Experience with Azure data stack and data warehousing concepts.
▪ Familiarity with ETL processes and big data technologies.

Business Intelligence (Must):
▪ Strong experience in developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar tools.
▪ Ability to define and track key metrics to support business objectives.
▪ Knowledge of data modeling and reporting techniques

 

Data Science (Plus):
▪ Understanding of machine learning concepts and their practical applications.
▪ Experience with data modeling and predictive analytics.
