Account Manager - AB Sales Cairo - Key Account Off Trade

 

Job Purpose

Manages the Off-Trade & distributors day to day business. Allocates trade budgets in the best possible programs which will bring additional market shares and incremental volumes. Implements effective trade programs ensuring maximum company revenue and long-term relationship with Al Ahram Beverages Company’s business partners.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 
  1. Drives the implementation of commercial plans to address market and brand opportunities, including coverage, distribution, channels, portfolio deployment, consumer interaction, and organizational strategies.
  2. Optimizes budget to meet yearly goals and guarantees return on investment (ROI).
  3. Monitors the actions of competitors in order to forecast their future moves and tactics.
  4. Contracts and retains alcoholic brands in order to maximize brand portfolio within the budget constraints.
  5. Develops and implements successful connections with major accounts, as well as negotiates and agrees on marketing programs and performance goals.
  6. Leads, inspires, and develops a high-performing team by setting demanding goals and providing constructive criticism and coaching.
  7. Performs daily market visits to ensure the quality of items and the stock keeping unit (SKU) portfolio in each channel.
  8. Coordinates sales orders with drivers on a daily basis.
  9. Takes sales orders and assigns them requests and invoices.
  10. Assists with the management of stock orders in collaboration with the warehouse manager to guarantee that products are available.
  11. Monitors the weight of vehicles and items to ensure they are properly aligned.
  12. Meets with distributors on a weekly basis to ensure that items and promotions are delivered efficiently.
  13. Coordinates promotions and product awareness with the trade marketing team.
  14. Coordinates with agencies on promotion stands.
  15. Develops excellent working connections with all distributors and off-trade customers.
  16. Supervises the delivery process.
  17. Coordinates with call centers to send items to the warehouse and ultimately to consumers via drivers.
  18. Analyzes support sales and account reports.
  19. Benchmarks competition data from sources and reports it to management.
  20. Ensures that distributors' monthly objectives are reached.
  21. Monitors customers' credit problems in collaboration with a call center hotline.
  22. Monitors competitor activity and quantities of competition to evaluate brand performance and alter strategy and action plans.
