Internship in Supply Planning (Global Planning team)

 

Are you a (graduate) student, passionate about Supply Chain Planning and looking for an experience in an international environment?

 

Global Planning Department drives the operational performance improvement in HEINEKEN by providing better Planning and S&OP capabilities across the globe. Therefore, Global Planning team has deep know how and experiences in (advanced) Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP-Finance capabilities. The global team is the ultimate (delegated) Functional Owner of these capabilities for HEINEKEN and can be seen as a Centre of Excellence to support our Operating Companies.

To deploy these capabilities we run local improvement projects, global projects and transformation programmes. S&OP FIT is a strategic programme for small/medium and large markets and Operating Companies. Our roles are to assess, coach, train and support Operations in their Planning Excellence journey and implementations.

 

For this internship we are looking for a person who will help us to create and structure training materials from basic to advance of BlueYonder software command in Supply Planning.

 

The internship is based in Amsterdam (office located in Schiphol) and available ASAP as of beginning of October for the duration of 5 months.

 

Please note that all interns must be enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the internship. You will need to provide a proof of enrolment with your application. Applications without this will not be considered.


Your responsibilities

In this internship you will be responsible for:

  • Support and ownership of the training material creation and Learning journey from basic to advanced  BlueYonder command in Supply Planning
  • Support in the decision of key communication criteria to facilitate the sharing knowledge.
  • You will have opportunity to be involved in latest supply planning developments
  • Participation in global projects that are using agile methodology
  • As per need, contribute to the design and coordination of provided support in line with global design and functional competencies

 

Your profile

You are a student in a relevant field of study and you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s student with affinity to Supply Chain/Planning
  • Background in econometrics, supply chain management or industrial engineering is a plus
  • Experience with planning tools is a plus (FuturMaster, INFOR AP,  etc)
  • Ability to prioritize and to work in a structured way on projects and individually
  • Exceptional team player capability and eagerness to learn, share knowledge
  • Proficiency in English: written, spoken and interpersonal
  • A pragmatic approach with a can-do mentality
