Legal Counsel

Job Description

  • Providing proactive business partnering and legal support to the various departments of the organization;
  • Assisting in the review and/or drafting of legal documents (including but not limited to supply agreements, sponsorship agreements, tenders and procurement agreements, memorandums of understanding, letters of appointment, intellectual property agreement and service level agreements) and advising on the same;
  • Liaising with other departments within the organization on the status of contracts etc.;
  • Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles and advising the organization;
  • Investigating potentially contentious matters and oversee any litigation matters;
  • Handling and reviewing corporate documents and records, as well as preparation of reports for general corporate meetings;
  • Manage the intellectual property portfolio;
  • Supporting compliance functions including compliance with the Code of Business Conduct, Competition Laws, Data Privacy and Anti-bribery laws within the organization;
  • Managing licenses, contract register and contract management system;
  • Assisting in the preparation of, and conducting internal training and presentations;
  • Liaising with external counsel where required;
  • Other administrative tasks such as preparing presentation materials, drafting minutes for meetings.

Job Requirements

Education:       Bachelor of Law

                        English overall skills are at proficiency level


Experience:     Three year experience working in a reputable law firm or similar corporate entity.

                        Be mature, responsible and responsive.

                        Highly critical thinking and be able to work flexibly in a diversity working environment.
