Title:  Trade Marketeer Out Of Home


As a Trade Marketeer at Alken-Maes you are the connection between Marketing and Sales. You are in the lead of building, developing, and executing our focus brands within out of home. You build our brands in the right Out Of Home channels, plan and execute the introduction of new products, determine strategy for visibility, co-develop POSM and track whether we are creating distribution and visibility in the right way. In addition, you develop in collaboration with Brand Managers and Sales activation concepts and tools that will help our Field Sales to pursue the perfect execution.



  • As Trade Marketeer you will be responsible for the creation and coordination from end-to-end route to market initiatives. This means initiate, support and follow up in terms of plans, tools, materials, expertise and return on investment with all various internal and external stakeholders.  
  • You develop frameworks that will make our strategy clear and easy to take decisions upon.
  • You will monitor your budget: we want to have the right plans for the right value to increase our brand visibility and return on sales.
  • You will also act as a Trade Marketing Consultant. This means that you will often accompany our people in the field to fully grasp what is going on in the field, what tools could help our sales and customers but also to support them with your expertise in perfect execution.
  • You will participate and/or lead internal, cross-departmental project teams. These teams will focus on new initiative to drive mid- & long-term innovations and sales.
  • You will also be responsible for the perfect Alken-Maes presence on the most important fairs and in close connection with our network, bureaus, agencies, and customers.




You are analytical, precise, creative, and commercial smart. You enjoy working at everything at once and will be able to keep an overview. Planning is a natural talent, you have a drive to win and you are an execution star. In addition, you are a team player full of persuasiveness. Customer centric thinking is your second nature.


Besides that, we are looking for someone with:

  • A master’s degree, preferably in a marketing or (business)economics-related field or have equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience within Customer/Channel Marketing and/or Sales Out Of Home.
  • An excellent knowledge of Dutch and English and a preferable knowledge of French.
