We train the following professions - the choice is yours!
As a process engineer, you will get to know the plants in which our beer is bottled. You will learn how to define production sequences, set up and program computer-controlled machines, monitor their operating sequences and learn how to detect and eliminate faults and errors.
Metal technician
As a metal technician you will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of our systems in the brewery. You will process metal parts, assemble, assemble, check and maintain machines and entire plants. You will also learn how to search for and eliminate faults and malfunctions.
Brewing technician
As a brewing and beverage technician, you will learn about the entire brewing process, from testing the raw materials (malting barley, hops, yeast, water) to the filtration and storage of the beer. This also includes the cleaning and maintenance of brewery equipment (boilers, filters, bottling, etc.) and the performance of quality tests.
Electrical engineer
As an electrical engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of our systems in the brewery. You will learn to build electrical machines and plant components, program control systems, commission and maintain them. You will also learn how to search for and eliminate faults and malfunctions.
Laboratory technician
As a laboratory technician with the main module Chemistry you will work in the quality control of our breweries. You will learn to carry out laboratory procedures such as distillation, extraction, etc. You will determine physical parameters such as density, pH value, etc. as well as ingredients, thus contributing to perfect beer quality.
Office Administrator
As an office administrator you will get to know the organisation of Brau Union Österreich from the ground up. You write e-mails, prepare statistics, answer enquiries, order office supplies and other goods. Depending on the department, you will have different tasks and focuses in your apprenticeship.
Logistics specialist
As a logistics specialist you will get to know logistics from the ground up. You accept goods, check them, manage and monitor stocks and determine order quantities. Transport planning and scheduling as well as filling out the relevant forms are also part of your job.
Mechatronics engineer
As a mechatronics engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of our systems in the brewery. You will build mechanical, electrical and electronic components, set up and configure mechatronic equipment and automation systems. You will also learn how to search for and eliminate faults and malfunctions.
