The internship

As a valued member of the Digital, Technology and Professional Services team within HEINEKEN Global Procurement team – you would be working in a pivotal area where the current and future technology landscape of HEINEKEN is selected and contracted.  From apps for customers to ESG reporting, from connected breweries to connected outlets – this team helps the business engage and partner with a variety of vendors (big tech firms to small start ups).  We are leaders in innovation, social sustainability (supplier diversity) and vendor management as well as typical category management

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course always with the guidance that is right for you.  We will look for you to go external (market info, benchmarking, peer companies) and internal (stakeholder development, mapping, networking) to make the role a success

The department

The D&T and PS team is unique, part of Global Procurement but co-located with D&T team in central Amsterdam so we can meet with key stakeholders across the central Amsterdam offices.  We still go to the BASE Schiphol offices (home of Global Procurement) 1-2 times a month.  We all enjoy the freedom and variety of our roles

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 2 September 2024
• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• You will be based in Amsterdam
• Working from Stadhouderskade 84
• You will receive an internship fee of €500  gross pm based on 40 hours per week
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.
